Trail Running calendar near Ravenscar 2026-2027

A 50-mile, 5,500 ft circuit of Wensleydale and Swaledale on 18–19 July 2026, including Great Shunner Fell. Entries are limited and adults only; electronic trackers are mandatory and the route must be completed within 22 hours.

A short fell race in Cracoe on 19 July 2026 covering 4.2 km with about 274 m of climb, rough ground and a final steep ascent. Pre entry and entry on the day are available and junior races run beforehand.

Join the Ravenscar Rumble revisited, a scenic fell race in Ravenscar on Wed 22 Jul 2026 covering 10 km with 250 m of climb through the North York Moors. Tea rooms stay open for post run treats and entry is on the day only.

Run Stately Trails: Aske at Aske Hall for an evening 5 km or 10 km loop, with a 5 km walk option. Limited to 200 runners, this mostly flat but muddy estate course winds through pastures and woodland for a scenic country trail.

Trail races at Constable Burton Hall on 23 July 2026 with 5km and 10km courses through parkland, pasture and woodland. Walkers may enter the 5km; finishers food, parking and an optional coaster medal are available.

Join Skipton's Rock up n' Run on 30 July 2026 for a lively evening 5k or 10k on road and trail as part of a pop up Summer Series. Turn up on the night, grab a jumble medal and enjoy hot food and a beer or soft drink.

Women-only 50k ultramarathon from Wadsworth Community Centre in Hebden Bridge. A marked circular route across woodland and moorland with about 1400 m ascent, four vegan-friendly checkpoints and a 10 hour cutoff.

A 37 mile loop through the North Pennines AONB from Allendale via Ninebanks Alston and Nenthead. Solo ultra or three person relay with a 12 hour completion limit, waymarked route with checkpoints and downloadable GPX.

A 36 miles ultra along the Esk Valley Way from Castleton to Whitby Harbour with full GPS tracking, five checkpoints and route support. Entries limited to 100 and minimum age 20.

Calderdale Crawl is a 24 mile walk or run near Halifax on footpaths that pass woods, fields and a short riverside section; refreshments are provided along the route and a meal is available at the finish.

A fell race held within the Osmotherley Show in North Yorkshire on 1 August 2026, covering 8.8 km with 320 m of climb. Entry is open to runners aged 16 and over with day registration and show admission required.

Join the Round Hill fell race for a challenging 14.1 km course with sweeping York Dales views, starting and finishing in charming Timble village. Entry is on the day for a small fee and part of the proceeds support brain tumour research.

Tackle the Trunce 7 fell race in the Peak District, a punchy 3.9 mile course with about 190 m of climb and great views. Entry on the day keeps it friendly and there is a junior over 10 race, ideal for families and club runners.

Crow Hill Reverse fell race in the South West Pennines on 4 Aug 2026 offers a steep 8 km route with 305 m of climb from Dusty Miller pub in Mytholmroyd. No pre entry required; join on the day for £5 and tackle a classic Pennine fell.

An evening pop up run in Rodley on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal offering 5k and 10k options, on the day entry and online entry listed, with a jumble medal plus hot food and a drink for participants.

Tackle the classic Eshton Moor fell race from Old Hall Farm, Gargrave: 8.3 km with 172 m ascent across rolling York Dales terrain. Entry on the day only, with junior races and a friendly club atmosphere.

A short fell race from Arncliffe Village Green with a steep climb to a cairn and a two stage descent. The event also includes a four mile road race and counts as a BOFRA championship counter.
