Challenge yourself to a scenic 17 km Lake District fell race with about 906 m of ascent across classic high ground around Grey Friar and Old Man. Pre entry only via SI Entries from 14 April and all proceeds support Alzheimer's Research UK.

A 10 km obstacle course in the grounds of Muncaster Castle in the Lake District, featuring mud, river wades, obstacles and wooded climbs; the event includes a celebratory dinner and a weekend of camping or indoor accommodation.

Trail marathon, half and 10k around Farndale from Hutton Le Hole with compulsory kit, downloadable maps and a 330 runner limit.

The The Devil Half Marathon will take place in Blaydon on Sunday 9 August 2026. You can run 13 miles.

Experience 13 miles of scenic fells and trails starting from the historic Lowther Castle. This marked course features river crossings and 1400ft of ascent with all proceeds supporting the Eden Valley Hospice.

The Boulsworth Fell Race will take place in Wycoller on Sunday 9 August 2026.

Forestburn is a short fell race near Rothbury on 9 August 2026. The course is about 5.6 km with 150 m of climb and is held at the Gate Pub as part of the Simonside Country Fair.

The Jackhouse Reservoir Trail Race will take place in Accrington on Tuesday 11 August 2026. You can run 5 miles.

Take on the classic Whittle Pike fell race in the South West Pennines on Wed 12 Aug 2026, roughly 5.5 miles with 550 m of climb from Cowpe Village Hall. Entry on the day is available for £5, teams welcome and runners must be 16 or over.

Join this classic Keswick fell race in the Lake District on Wed 12 Aug 2026 for a lively 4.7 mile trail challenge with 280 m climb and a summit of Latrigg. On the day entries are welcome, fee £5 and runners must be 16 or older.

Multi-distance towpath races in Saltaire from 5k to ultra with regular feed stations, finisher medal and short walk from Saltaire train station.

A moorland fell race around Ilkley with a 35 km loop and a 21 km point to point option. The unmarked route crosses multiple moors, has two aid stations and requires runners to use a GPX or route map.

Join the Rusland 5, a scenic fell race across Rusland Showfield in the Lake District featuring a 4.8 mile route with 310 m of climb and shorter senior and junior options. Race entry is free; the show costs £5 and accepts entries on the day.

A fully off road 10km trail race at Rock UK in Newcastleton on 15 August 2026. The one lap course is chip timed with a halfway water station, marked and marshalled routes, bespoke medals and prize categories for adults and vets.

Trail runs at Lambton Estate in County Durham offering 5km, 5, 10 and 15 mile routes on woodland tracks and estate roads, canicross friendly, chip timed, on-site parking.

A 13.6 mile trail half in the Eden Valley on 16 August 2026, largely off-road with 1330 ft of ascent and a five hour cut off.

A 10 km circular trail around Piethorne and Ogden reservoirs on bridleways, including an out and back to Hollingworth Lake and about 275 m of ascent.

Join the Keswick Sports Fell Race in the Lake District on Sun 16 Aug 2026 for a punchy 3 mile, 290 m climb course from Fitz Park Cricket Pavilion. Entry on the day and juniors welcome with big prizes for record breakers.

A 22.5 km fell race over the Howgill Fells with 1830 m ascent, mandatory kit and navigation required, strict cutoffs and limited entries.

A trail half marathon in the North York Moors on 16 August 2026 with an ascent of Roseberry Topping, a five hour cut off and places limited to 50 runners.
