Trail Running calendar near Dunwich 2026-2027

A 27 mile evening trail marathon near Purleigh across saltmarsh, towpaths, vineyards and woods, with a 6.5 hour cutoff and a field limited to 50 runners.

A Backyard Ultra at High Lodge Thetford Forest with 4.167 mile hourly loops, an open-ended main race plus 6 and 12 hour options, chip timing, camping and on-course support.

A point to point 50 km trail ultramarathon from Rochester to Tonbridge along the River Medway. The predominantly flat, fully marked course features four stocked aid stations, chip timing, live GPS tracking and an athletics track finish.

A mixed road and country run around Ousden in Suffolk offering 5k, 10k, half, full and ultra options with loop and out-and-back formats, regular aid stations, onsite parking and bespoke finisher medals.

A *10 km* out-and-back race through gravel paths and woodland at Weald Country Park in Brentwood, organised by MCC Promotions. The event includes on-day registration, water stations, prizes and supports the charity Sport In Mind.

A coastal Ultra Challenge from a Cromer basecamp with 50 km, 25 km and 10 km options along the Weavers Way and Norfolk Coastal Path, supported by staffed rest stops, GPS route marking, catering and medical teams.

A 5k obstacle course at Trinity Park with muddy climbs, crawls and slides, held in staggered waves. The grassy course is fairly flat and the event requires participants to be 13 or older.

Cock-a-doodle Dawdle is a lap-based trail event at Hyde Hall Farm on 26 June 2027 offering distances from 5 km to ultra marathon on a 5.3 km loop, with on-course aid, secure parking and finishers' medals.

Timed 6, 12 or 24 hour loop event at High Lodge Thetford Forest for solos, pairs or teams up to four with onsite camping and wooden medals.

A navigational trail event near Little Baddow, Essex with a roughly 14 to 18 mile route, team entries of two or three, waterproof maps provided and mandatory compass and phone.
