ZigZag - 2026 Cock-a-doodle Dawdle

The Cock-a-doodle Dawdle takes place at Hyde Hall Farm, SG9 0RU on Saturday 27 June 2026 and is returning for its third year. The event is limited to 300 entrants and has a minimum age of 18 years. Entries close on 26 June 2026.

The course is a trail event that includes some tarmac paths and grassland and is described as undulating. The route starts in the farm base camp and loops through the venue grounds. There is a water and aid station located at the lap point. The event operates a time cutoff system including a six-hour cutoff and an additional shorter cutoff for a later start.

On-site facilities include secure parking provided as part of entry, a parking attendant to direct vehicles and the way to race-number collection, and a baggage area for warm clothes and shoes. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own cups or bottles for refilling.
