The Cock-A-Doodle Dawdle returns for its third year at Hyde Hall Farm in Buntingford (SG9 0RU). This trail running event is held within exclusive grounds, providing a self-contained and intimate environment. The course utilizes the base camp of the farm and encompasses the surrounding grounds, featuring a mix of tarmac paths, grassland, and trail sections. The terrain is described as undulating.

Participants can choose from a wide range of distances. The event is timed with a six-hour cut-off for the morning start and a four-hour cut-off for the later start. The following distances are available:

The event is cupless, meaning participants must bring their own cups or bottles for refills at the water and aid station located at the lap point. Upon finishing, runners receive either a bespoke event medal or a medal from a previous event if the lucky dip entry option was selected.
