Trail Running calendar near Tandur 2026-2027

A team-based endurance hike through Imbil State Forest on 9 May 2026 with 18 km, 30 km or 48 km options, fundraising for the Kokoda Youth Foundation and commemorating the Kokoda Campaign.

A multi-format trail running event at Ewen Maddock Dam featuring repeated 5 km laps, with 24hr, 10hr, 5hr and 5 km options for solo runners, pairs, teams and families and on-site Race HQ services.

Trail races of 50 km, 36 km, 21 km and 12 km around Yandina staged from Terella Brewing, with marked courses through Mapleton National Park, creek crossings and hilly terrain. Entry includes a shirt and finisher memento.

A trail running event on 20 June 2026 in the Noosa Hinterland with kids, 6km and 10km races, timing and on-course support, and sustainability measures including an environmental levy and partnerships for reforestation.

An evening running event at Wild Horse Mountain in Coochin Creek on July 18, 2026, offering 10 km, 15 km and a half marathon. Entry fees include GST and transaction costs and a 10:00 pm cut-off applies.

A trail running event at Rainbow Beach on 8 August 2026 offering 11 km, half marathon and marathon courses that pass coloured sand cliffs, forests, lakes, dunes and beaches, with marked routes and checkpoint support.

A trail event in Mapleton on 17 October 2026 with 100 km, 50 km and 21 km courses along the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk; mandatory safety gear, drop-bag service and prizes are provided, and the 100 km is a Western States qualifier.

A Backyard Ultra at Nine Mile Camping Grounds with a 6.7 km loop every hour; runners must finish each loop within the hour to continue. Onsite camping and glamping are available and day passes for crew cost $5.

Trail race at the base of Mt Beerwah on 6 December 2026 offering Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 km courses with marked trails, water checkpoints with no disposable cups, and gear requirements including a 500 ml bottle and race bib.

A backyard ultra at Nine Mile Camping Grounds where runners complete a 6.7 km loop each hour until one runner remains; the course is fully inside the campground with onsite camping and marked trails.

A night trail running event at the base of Mt Beerwah offering 10 km, half marathon and marathon distances. Courses are marked for night navigation and checkpoints supply water and food while participants must carry their own cup and headla..
