Trail Running calendar near Mapleton 2026-2027

On 12 July 2026 the Somerset Rail Trail Classic offers running, walking and cycling options along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, with distances from 3 km to 44 km and a community focus under Somerset Regional Council.

A night trail event at Wild Horse Mountain on July 18, 2026, with three distance options and published course maps. Mandatory kit includes a headlamp, water bottle and access to a course map.

A trail event in Mapleton on 17 October 2026 with 100 km, 50 km and 21 km courses along the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk; mandatory safety gear, drop-bag service and prizes are provided, and the 100 km is a Western States qualifier.

Season 14 Round 2 of the SEQ Trail Running Series takes place in Pomona on 25 October 2026 with two trail distances, timed results, race photos, a charity BBQ and a limited edition singlet included with full series entries.

A 22 km trail race on Mount Glorious with 1,200 m of climb across rainforest ridgelines and a manned midpoint at England Creek. Entry includes event bus transport; runners must carry 1 L of water and a refillable container.

A 24-hour trail running festival at Ewen Maddock Dam with hourly 5 km laps, no eliminations and options for 24hr, 10hr, 5hr and a 5 km finale. Race HQ offers food, stalls and on-course support in a tent-friendly venue.

Trail running around the base of Mt Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast, offering marathon, half marathon and 10 km courses with marked trails, checkpoints and mandatory gear requirements.

Night-time trail races at the base of Mt Beerwah offering 10 km, half marathon and marathon routes with marked courses and mandatory safety gear. Checkpoints provide water but no disposable cups.

Round 7 of the SEQ Trail Running Series at Ewen Maddock Dam offers two trail distances, professional timing and photos, a post-race charity BBQ and coffee, and series points for club and individual rankings.

Trail races from 15 km to 100 km across the Noosa Trail Network and five national parks with staffed checkpoints, aid stations and mandatory gear for ultra distances.
