About the race
Beerwah@Night is a trail running event at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park on 30 January 2027. The event offers three race options around the base of Mt Beerwah:
- 10 km : elevation gain 294 m
- Half Marathon (21 km) : elevation gain 586 m
- Marathon : two laps of the half marathon course; elevation gain 1,172 m
Entries close on 24 January 2027 and there are no entries on race day. Entry fees include GST. Refunds are available until 18 January 2027 and are subject to a $30 administration charge; transfers to another person or event are not permitted. Minimum age limits apply: 12 years for 10 km, 15 years for the half marathon, and 18 years for the marathon. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the event. All finishers receive an event memento.
The course is marked with reflective orange and silver flagging tape and red directional arrows; red crosses mark paths that are not part of the course. Checkpoints provide water, electrolyte and a small variety of food but no disposable cups, so participants should carry their own cup or use a hydration pack. Mandatory gear includes a mobile phone for emergency contacts, a course map, race bib, minimum 500 ml water capacity and a headlight or suitable torch. Marathon runners may leave drop bags at the start area and access them after each lap. Support crews are not permitted on course; they may be at the start and finish area only.
