About the race
Beerwah@Night is a night-time trail running event staged at the base of Mt Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park on 30 January 2027. The event comprises three races around the base of the mountain, with the course marked using reflective orange and silver flagging tape, red directional arrows, and red crosses to indicate incorrect routes. The organisers note the course may change due to bush fires, flooding, or harvesting and advise participants to follow all course markings on race day.
Distances:
- Marathon (two laps of the half marathon course, elevation gain 1172 m)
- Half Marathon (elevation gain 586 m)
- 10 km (elevation gain 294 m)
Entry details include a closing date of 24 January and a refunds window until 18 January subject to a $30 administration fee; there are no entries on race day and no transfers to another person or event. Minimum age limits apply for each distance and participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. All finishers receive an event memento.
The event operates a no-cup policy at checkpoints; participants must carry their own cup if they require one. Mandatory items include a mobile phone with emergency contacts, a course map, visible race bib, minimum 500 ml water capacity, a compression bandage and a headlight or suitable torch. Support crews are not permitted on course; spectators may view runners at the start/finish area only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
