Course Details
The Beerwah at Daybreak running event takes place at the base of Mount Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains National Park on the Sunshine Coast. The event consists of three distinct trail races: a 10 km, a Half Marathon (21.1 km), and a Marathon (42.2 km). The marathon comprises two laps of the half marathon course, with the first lap run anti-clockwise and the second clockwise.
The courses are marked with reflective orange flagging tape approximately every 250 meters, along with red directional arrows and "red cross" indicators showing where not to go. Runners should be aware the course may be subject to change due to circumstances like bushfires or flooding. Significant elevation gain is listed: 294m for the 10 km, 586m for the half marathon, and 1172m for the marathon.
Event Information
The event is scheduled for December 6th. Entries close on November 30th, and no entries are accepted on race day. There are minimum age requirements: 12 years for the 10 km, 15 years for the half marathon, and 18 years for the marathon. Participants under 18 require a parent or guardian present.
All finishers will receive an event memento. Refunds are available until November 10th, subject to an administration charge. Transfers to another person or event are not permitted.
