Venue and race details

The event takes place at Wodson Park Sports & Leisure Centre, Wadesmill Road, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 0UQ. The course is a traffic-free athletics track with toilets and changing facilities close to the track and free parking on site. Runners will be counted by laps; each lap is 400 m and the official distance is calculated from completed laps. Aid stations are placed around the course. Additional event features include a bespoke medal, race photos, free tea, coffee and cake for runners, and music during the day. Overtaking is on the right and walkers are asked to use outer lanes. As the event moves into dusk, runners will be required to wear a head torch and local fireworks may be visible.
