The Springfield Striders Hobble is a trail running event on 09 Nov 2025 at Galleywood Common, Horse and Groom Lane, Chelmsford, CM2 8PL. The course changes each year. The race is self-navigated using a written route description issued on the day; there are no course markings, no marshals and no GPX file. The event is not a mass start. Runners will be timed out and must check back in at the finish. Entrants must be over 18. Race headquarters will be at the Horse & Groom pub, where toilet facilities are available.

Entry fees are £9 affiliated and £11 unaffiliated, plus a 50p booking fee. The entry includes a £4 voucher to spend at the pub on the day. The event has TRA permit 7768. Entrants may book more than once to allow friends to run together, but full details for each person (emergency contact, mobile phone to be carried on the day, email and agreement to the event terms) must be provided before the closing date.
