Autumn Amble is a trail race held on 2 November 2025. The route is approximately 7 miles and entrants must be over 17. The event is held under TRA Permit 7790 and under UKA rules. The race is a self-navigation trail event using a written route description issued on the day; there are no course markings, marshals or GPX files. Dogs are not allowed. Participants will be timed out and back in at the finish.
The race headquarters is at The Butchers Arms, North End, Great Dunmow CM6 3PJ. Results will be posted on www.essextrailevents.com. Participants are asked to park with due care and attention to other people’s property and access.
Entries, fees and policies
Entry fees are £9 for affiliated runners and £11 for unaffiliated runners; the unaffiliated fee includes a £4 voucher to use at the pub on the day. A booking or service fee applies to each sign-up. The closing date for entries is 31 October 2025. Participants choose a start time from a list provided during entry.
There are no refunds except if the race is cancelled. Transfers are allowed only by contacting the organiser before the transfer deadline; no transfers after 26 October. If one person enters others, the organiser requires emergency contact details, a mobile phone number to be carried on the day, an email address and confirmation that those people agree to the event terms by 26 October.
