H&T Running stages Remembrance Sunday 2026 in Brightlingsea, Essex on 8 November 2026. The event includes a moment of silence during the race and the Last Post and Reveille will be played live before the event, with two minutes of silence between. The race is UKA affiliated, holds a race permit issued by TRA, and is a 100 Club qualifying event.

Course and facilities

The course is an undulating, traffic-free, looped trail that uses a 10.54 km / 6.55 m loop. Runners complete two laps for a half marathon and four laps for a full marathon; the event has a six-hour time limit and runners may continue while the clock allows.

Aid stations are cupless; participants must provide their own cup, flask, or bottle. Speedcups are available for sale at registration or with entry. There is an aid station at the end of every lap and another at approximately 5 km. The aid points offer flapjacks, other snacks, fruit, nuts, water, and squash. Personal bags may be left at the aid station for use between laps.

The race starts outside Bateman’s Tower Café on Promenade Way, Brightlingsea, CO7 0HH. Parking is available on the roadside and in public car parks on Promenade Way. Toilets are located near Bateman’s Café and in the car park at the end of Promenade Way and are accessible before, during, and after the event.
