Druid's Challenge 2026

Druid's Challenge 2026 is a three-day, 84-mile (135 km) ultramarathon held from 13 to 15 November 2026, based at Tring Rugby Club, Cow Lane, Hertfordshire (HP23 5NS / HP23 6HA). The route follows the Ridgeway, starting in Buckinghamshire and finishing in Wiltshire.

The course includes two overnight stops in Watlington and Didcot and passes notable Ridgeway scenery including Ivinghoe Beacon. The event is presented as a multi-day endurance route rather than single-stage races.

The organiser offers a full three-day package that includes overnight accommodation, evening meals, showers, breakfast, food and drink at checkpoints, free parking, and evening guest speakers. Alternative entry options are available: full three-day with accommodation and food (standard price listed at £289 plus booking fee; late price listed at £320 plus booking fee), full three-day without accommodation (£229 plus booking fee), and single-day entries (each listed at £77 plus booking fee). A price rise is noted for 07/11/2026. An instalment plan is available with an additional fee of 1% plus £0.50 per instalment.

The organiser's policies state a 70% refund of the entry fee up to one month before the event; after that date refunds and transfers are not available. A 7 hour lap-based time challenge along the River Thames at Wraysbury with flexible self-paced distances from 3 km up to 50 km, signed course, aid stations, medals, goody bags including vegan options, and distance pins for longer efforts.

A 100 mile continuous Thames Path race from Richmond to Oxford, mostly on groomed trails and riverside paths. The route gains about 1 900 ft, includes aid stations and mandatory kit checks, and must be completed within 30 hours.
