Druid's Challenge 2026

The Druid's Challenge is a three-day, 84-mile (135 km) ultramarathon held from 13 to 15 November 2026. The event starts at Tring Rugby Club, Cow Lane, Hertfordshire, Tring HP23 5NS (postal code HP23 6HA), and follows the Ridgeway.

The route follows the Ridgeway, described as the oldest roadway in the UK, and crosses from Buckinghamshire to Wiltshire over three days. Competitors have two overnights in Watlington and Didcot. The Ridgeway section passes notable countryside features including Ivinghoe Beacon.

The organiser is XNRG Druids. The event package options include a Full 3 Day Package with accommodation and food, a Full 3 Day option without accommodation and food, and single-day entries for Day One, Day Two or Day Three. Event services include overnight accommodation, evening meals, showers, breakfast, food and drink at checkpoints, free parking and evening guest speakers. A 10% discount is available to serving military and emergency services personnel on presentation of proof of service.

A community rural 5 km run and walk through Neptune and Paradise Wood with marshalled routes, age category awards, a midway drinks station and first aid, family entries and space for walkers with dogs on leads.

A multi-terrain 5 km race near Silverstone at Blackpit Farm featuring woodlands, lakeside lawns and farmland. Finishers receive a unique 5K medal and a virtual completion option is available; parking at Blackpit Brewery is free.

A four race summer series at Dinton Pastures Country Park offering 5 km, 10 km and a 2 km kids race on a traffic free off road course. The event includes chip timing, marshals, medals and on site first aid.

Point-to-point races along the Three Shires Way offering a 50 mile ultra and a marathon through Bucks, Beds and Northants with on-course aid, mandatory kit requirements, finish medals and downloadable GPX routes.
