The 5th Sundon Saunter is an LDWA event organised by the Beds, Bucks and Northants group on Sunday 16 November 2025. The venue is Barton-le-Clay Village Hall (MK45). The object of the event is to complete a chosen route using a route description and passing through a number of checkpoints. Checkpoint opening and closing times will be strictly adhered to.

Entries open 1 September 2025 with priority for LDWA members until 19 October; general entry opens after that. Entry fees are LDWA members £10, non-LDWA £15, under 18s free. There will be no entries on the day and entries are not transferable. Refunds before 2 November incur a £2 admin fee; after that no refunds unless a place is filled from the waiting list, in which case a donation may be made to a local Air Ambulance.

Participants must download and print their own route description; route descriptions and GPX files will be published on the BBN website by 6 November 2025. Equipment recommended includes route description, compass, a personal mug, torch (if finishing after dark), mobile phone, first aid kit, waterproof jacket and trousers, and waterproof covers for documents. The entry fee includes drinks, start biscuits, snacks at checkpoints and a light meal at the finish. Vegetarian options will be provided; vegan food may be available but is not guaranteed. Dogs are allowed but not in halls (except assistance dogs), must be on leads, and owners must confirm liability insurance; the walk leader has the final decision.
