The 5th Sundon Saunter is organised by LDWA - Beds, Bucks and Northants and takes place on Sunday 16 November 2025. The venue is Barton-le-Clay Village Hall (MK45 4JY). The event was listed as full and new entries were placed on a waiting list; the entry list showed 246 participants with 17 on the waiting list. Entry fees were: LDWA members £10, non-LDWA £15, under 18s free.

Practical information

The route follows field paths, tracks, woods and some roads through undulating countryside with hill views. Participants must complete their chosen distance using a route description and pass through checkpoints; checkpoint opening and closing times are strictly enforced. Route descriptions and GPX files must be downloaded and printed in advance because they will not be supplied on the day. Required equipment includes a route description, compass, mug (no mugs supplied at checkpoints), torch if finishing after dark, mobile phone, first aid kit and waterproofs. OS map references covering the routes are provided.

Parking is available at the village hall or at Arnold Academy; parking in village streets or the private road opposite the HQ is not permitted. Dogs are allowed but must be on leads at all times, are not allowed in halls except assistance dogs, and must have appropriate liability insurance.
