Course and logistics

The route begins in Leighton Buzzard and makes an anti-clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park. It then follows the Grand Union Canal towpath north to Stoke Hammond, climbs through countryside to Great Brickhill, passes through Rushmere Country Park woodland, follows the Greensand Ridge back to the start via the canal towpath, and finishes with a clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park. Terrain includes tow path, off-road hills and woods, and a boggy flood plain. Marshals and volunteers provide support on the course and first aid is available.

Parking options include limited free parking at the school, parking at Tiddenfoot Waterside Park or on Mentmore Road (not on double yellow lines), and paid parking at Leighton Buzzard train station operated by SABA UK with about 700 spaces; the station is a short walk from the race HQ.
