Course and logistics
The route starts in Leighton Buzzard and includes an anti-clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park, follows the Grand Union Canal towpath north to Stoke Hammond, climbs through countryside to Great Brickhill, passes through Rushmere Country Park woodland, follows the Greensand Ridge back to the start via the canal towpath, and finishes with a clockwise lap of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park. Parking is available at the school with free spaces (limited), and roadside parking along Mentmore Road is permitted where not on double yellow lines. An alternative paid option is the Leighton Buzzard train station car park, which offers close to 700 spaces and is about a 10-minute walk from the school.
