The York University Challenge is a 6-hour lapped running event set in the scenic grounds of York University. Participants can choose their distance, completing anywhere from a single lap to multiple laps, with options for half marathon and marathon distances. Each runner receives a unique medal and a goody bag, along with access to homemade cake.

The event promotes sustainability by being cupless, encouraging runners to bring their own bottles.
