PECO XC League Race 2 (14 December 2025)

This race is part of the PECO Cross Country League series and takes place at Pontefract Park, Pontefract, West Yorkshire. The course is cross country, undulating and run over two laps, with a distance of 4.5-5.0 miles. The event is one of five league races held in and around Leeds and includes men's and ladies divisions. Race headquarters are at Pontefract Park. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 2,000 competitors; remaining places were listed as 1,205. A race licence has been applied for.

Entry, numbers and rules

Season tickets are available online for £17.00; season tickets provide entry to all five league races, the end-of-season relays and the League presentation evening. All entrants are allocated a race number with a timing chip which must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged senior numbers can be purchased for £3. Entry is restricted to clubs that are members of the PECO XC League and to competitors who are paid-up members of a club affiliated to England Athletics at the time of the race. Affiliated members of non-League clubs may run as guests; unattached runners are not permitted. Facilities at the venue include toilets only; there are no water stations, distance markers, changing facilities, showers or baggage store.
