Yeti Half
The Yeti Half takes place at Bluhm County Park, 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391, on February 27, 2027. The race uses the park's multi-use trails west of the Grove Shelter; the shelter is the only shelter in the park and is outdoors.
The course is four loops of 3.4 miles each, for a total of 13.6 miles. As of August 11, 2026, the current dirt trails were closed due to storm damage; final trail availability will be decided closer to the event. The route will be marked with flags, arrow signs, and survey tape on trees. Runners should follow the course markings rather than other runners.
Organizers will use manual timing and will record laps as runners enter the start/finish area. Bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt. There is a 4 hour 30 minute cutoff for the race.
One aid station will be located at the Grove Shelter with water, Gatorade, and prepackaged snacks. Runners will pass near parking and bathrooms each loop; a picnic table will be available at the shelter for personal items. There is no aid on the course between loops.
Registered participants receive a limited-edition long sleeve cotton shirt and a winter hat and gloves, one size fits all, while supplies last. There is no awards ceremony; overall winners receive a Yeti figure and a Starbucks gift card. All finishers may select an item from a prize table.
The event is presented by the Crazy Legs Race Series, which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana, supports inclusive registration policies, and acknowledges the indigenous nations of the land used for events.
