Woodland Women 5km Run
Woodland Women 5km Run is a ladies only, chatty-paced group run through the forest of Cannock Chase. The event is organised by Cannock Chase Trail Runners and takes place at Go Ape Cannock, Birches Valley Forest Centre, Rugeley WS15 2UQ.
The run is set over a 5 km route and is open to participants of all running abilities provided they can complete the full distance. Participants must be over 18 and certify they are physically fit and able to take part. The organiser’s waiver notes that group running carries inherent risks and that participants assume responsibility for those risks and must follow the organiser’s instructions.
This is an in-person event. Free parking is available in the Birches Valley car park. Participants will be greeted at the Go Ape cabin by designated run leads and are asked to arrive at least ten minutes before the run. Trail running shoes are recommended and a waterproof jacket is advisable in wet conditions. Photographs or videos may be taken during the event and can be used by the organisers for marketing purposes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
