Wild Hybrid Durham: Lambton Castle Day 1

Wild Hybrid Durham takes place at Lambton Park, a private estate near Chester le Street in County Durham. This event is held on the grounds owned by the Earl of Durham and features a course that utilizes trail paths around Lambton Castle and the River Wear.

The competition combines running elements with a functional fitness component. The functional workout zone is located directly outside the castle, allowing participants to compete against the backdrop of the historic estate and its surrounding scenery. As the first event of the second season for Wild Hybrid, this particular day focuses on a paired workout format for teams of two.

Participants are timed using a live chip system throughout the event. All finishers receive merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes are awarded to the individuals or teams finishing in the first, second, and third positions within each category.

On-site parking is available for a fee. While the specific course routes are to be confirmed, the terrain consists of natural trail paths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
