Wicked Worm trail races : Robinette’s Apple Haus, Grand Rapids
The Wicked Worm Trail Races take place at Robinette’s Apple Haus in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event uses the West Michigan Trail Runners (WMTR) courses and is described by organizers as running on technical trails around the orchard.
Distances and formats include:
- 10K: entire WMTR course around and on the north side of the orchard.
- 6 Hour: loops around the orchard and sections 1 and 3; loop 4.2 miles.
- 12 Hour: same course as the 6 Hour; loop 4.2 miles.
The 6 Hour and 12 Hour races are each capped at 50 racers. Racers may drop at any time during their race; for safety, they must check in at the main aid station when finished. Pacers are permitted for 12 Hour racers; each runner may have only one pacer at a time and all pacers must check in and sign the Robinette’s waiver.
Parking is permitted along the race course; participants commonly use chairs, canopies, blankets or coolers for rest and shade. Packet pickup is available on race day only. Race items include a race gift and finisher medals; racers registering after June 3, 2026, may not receive swag based on availability. Entry changes and transfers are allowed before June 19, 2026; deferred entry credit is available under specified conditions. No refunds.
