About the Event

The Wicked Worm Trail Races take place on the trails at Robinette’s Apple Haus in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The trail is described as one of the most technical in West Michigan.

Race Distances and Format

Three race distances are offered:

  • 10K: This race uses the full WMTR course around and on the north side of the orchard.
  • 6 Hour: Racers run loops around the orchard and sections 1 and 3 of the WMTR course. Each loop is 4.2 miles. The last lap must be started by 1:45 PM. The race is capped at 50 participants.
  • 12 Hour: Racers run the same 4.2-mile loop course as the 6-hour event. The last loop must be started by 7:45 PM. This race is also capped at 50 participants. Pacers are allowed for 12-hour racers starting at 4:00 PM, with one pacer per runner at a time.

Racers in the timed events may stop at any time but must check in at the main aid station when finished. Participants can park along the course and are encouraged to bring chairs, canopies, and personal coolers.
