Course and logistics

The courses use Robinette's Nature Trail and consist of dirt and rooty single-track trails. The terrain is hilly, with about 500 feet of elevation gain on the 9K loop. Historic average temperatures for the date range from about 63 to 83 degrees. This is a no-cup event, so participants should bring a personal water-carrying system.

All finishers receive a Grand Rapids Trail Run finisher medal and a tri-blend tee. Awards are given for first, second and third place in all distances. The 18K includes a last place trophy. RUCK finishers receive a Grand Rapids 9K RUCK patch. For course maps, aid station details, and event policies, information is provided through the event organizer.
