Races take place on single-track trails. Shirts are included with registration; registering by May 1 guarantees a shirt in the requested size if that size is still available. Packet pickup is held in the lodge before each race.

Lodging is available at the Long Lake Outdoor Center near the start and finish area. Options include rental cabins for four or five people and single bunks in bunk houses. Cabins are described as rustic and maintained, and a bath house with warm showers is available for participants who stay on site. Lodging prices cover both Friday and Saturday nights.
