The 10k course has 978' of elevation gain and the 25k course has 1,388' of elevation gain. The courses drain well and have no water crossings. The 10k and 25k routes use the Hall Lake Trail, spur trails past the Devil's Soup Bowl, the Mountain Bike Trail, and the North Country Trail, with both returning via North Country, Chief Noonday, Long Lake, and ski trails. The 50k is two laps of the 25k course and the 100k is four laps.
Aid stations are placed approximately 2 to 4 miles apart. There is one aid station on the 10k, three on the 25k, and an aid station at the start/finish with space for drop bags.
Pacers are permitted for the 100k on laps 3 and 4 and for the 50k on lap 2. Only one pacer at a time is allowed; pacers must check in, sign a waiver at the start/finish, may use aid station food, and should not cross the finish line.
