Weiser River 50K Ultra and Relay

The event is a 50 kilometers point to point race from Council to Midvale, Idaho, run along the Weiser River Trail. The program includes a solo 50K and a 50K relay open to teams of 2 to 5 runners. Solo entries have no cap.

The trail follows a converted railroad bed that is a National Recreation Trail. Surfaces include stony railroad ballast, dirt, and some paved crossings near towns. The route runs alongside the Weiser River, through canyons and across open farmland, with very little elevation change, making it an early season course.

Runner classifications include Ultra (minimum age 18), Men and Women (18–54), Seniors (age 55 and over, any gender), and Adaptive Athletes (all ages, all genders). Relay teams are eligible for overall team awards with recognition for top teams. Packet pickup will be announced closer to race day. Registration by 04/06/26 by noon is required to be guaranteed event swag.

Aid stations double as relay exchange points. Approximate distances between exchange points are Council to Mesa Siding 6.1 miles, Mesa Siding to Goodrich 6.9 miles, Goodrich to Cambridge 9.1 miles, Cambridge to Shoepeg 5.0 miles, and Shoepeg to Midvale 4.1 miles. A shuttle is provided from the finish area to the start for solo runners; entrants are asked to indicate shuttle needs during registration. There are no cancellation refunds, but entrants may roll entries to the next year or transfer to a relay team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
