Virginia Creeper 10 Miler

The Virginia Creeper 10 Miler is a trail race held in Abingdon, Virginia, with an official location at 300 Green Spring Rd. The distance for the event is 10 Miles, run as an out-and-back course: five miles out on the trail, a turnaround, and five miles returning on the same route.

The course follows a rail-to-trail corridor and is predominantly dirt and gravel with two road crossings. The profile is fairly flat, with a slight decline on the outbound segment and a slight incline on the return. Packet pickup is located at the VA Creeper Trail Gazebo, about 0.1 mile from the trailhead. Race day registration is available.

Registration opens March 16, 2026 and closes May 29, 2026. The base registration fee is $20.00; a $5.00 discount applies for members of the State of Franklin Track Club.

Awards are presented to the first female and first male overall and to the first female and first male in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 70-79, and 80 and over.
