The 8 Mile course is an out-and-back route with lake views and about 800 feet of elevation gain. Aid is provided at the 4 mile turnaround and at the start/finish. Portable toilets are located by the boat ramp parking lot near miles 3 and 5.
The 25k is a one-lap mountain course with over 2000 feet of elevation gain, varied climbing and descents. Aid stations are located around miles 4 and 10 and at the start/finish. Restrooms are noted near miles 5 and 10.
Event amenities include locally printed shirts (last day to order July 9), custom wood finishers' medals for those who register in time, awards for top overall finishers and age-group winners by gender, and professional photography for every distance. Post-event offerings listed include refreshments, live music, and games. Limited group camping spots are available with a stated fee of $10 per night per person, which covers parking and swimming fees. A $7 park gate parking fee applies for non-campers. The start/finish area is at the picnic shelters just before Creekside Campground, adjacent to parking lot 6. Check-in and on-site sign-up are cash only.
