The Vernal Equinox is a multi-day timed trail event held April 2–4, 2027 at Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio. The event uses a 2-mile loop that passes through wooded trails, meadows, and gravel road, with a barn located at the start/finish area of each loop.
Aid station offerings include typical ultrarunning food plus hot items such as homemade soup, grilled cheese, and fresh coffee. Vegan options are available. The event is cupless; participants receive a reusable cup in their race packet and paper cups are not provided. Bowls and plates are provided for hot food.

- 12 Hour event and 12 Hour rucker division
- 8 Hour event
Support and amenities include free clean horse stalls for participant use as staging, storage, or rest space, and optional RV hookups for a fee. Superior race swag includes Rabbit long sleeve shirts and custom finisher awards handmade in Ohio; belt buckles are offered for selected distance achievements. A $250 cash prize is available for beating the 24 hour or 48 hour course records; current records list distances for men and women in each timed event.
An Athletes With Disability division is offered with visually impaired and mobility impaired categories. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs; tethers, prosthetics, crutches, and poles may be allowed with approval. Guides may accompany AWD athletes under specific rules and must sign waivers.
