Valkyrie Trail Race is a women focused trail running event held at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 9, 2026. The event offers multiple course distances and combines open meadow trails with singletrack and technical sections under pine canopy.

Courses begin on crushed limestone in meadow areas and move onto winding singletrack that climbs toward ridgelines. Runners descend into pine-shaded canyons and follow rocky, technical paths. The event operates cupless aid stations; runners should bring a reusable cup or hydration bladder. Water dispensers are provided at the start/finish and at every aid station. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Colorado Running Company, and a photo ID is required to receive a packet.
