Valkyrie Trail Race is a women focused trail running event held at Cheyenne Mountain State Park on May 8, 2027. The event offers multiple distance options on natural-surface trails that include open meadows, crushed limestone approaches, winding singletrack, pine-shaded canyons, and rocky technical sections.

• Half Marathon: lowest 6017', highest 6873', elevation gain 1791'
• 30K: lowest 6017', highest 6873', elevation gain 2470'
• Marathon: lowest 6017', highest 6873', elevation gain 3586'
• 50K: lowest 6017', highest 6873', elevation gain 4259'

Course layouts share a common elevation range with the lowest point at 6017 feet and the highest at 6873 feet. The 50K contains the largest recorded elevation gain and loss. The finish line is located at the same trailhead used for the starts.

Aid stations operate cupless; participants are expected to bring a reusable cup or hydration reservoir. Water dispensers are provided at the start/finish and at each aid station for refilling bottles, bladders, and reusable cups.

Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Colorado Running Company, 5262 North Nevada Avenue #140, Colorado Springs. Race entry includes access to Cheyenne Mountain State Park, a custom race shirt, and a finisher's medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
