Course, aid and logistics

The course starts and finishes at Merit Academy in Woodland Park, with the route ascending Lovell Gulch to Rampart Range Road, then continuing south and counterclockwise around Rampart Reservoir singletrack. The route connects to the 700.A National Forest trail, follows quiet National Forest roads north, and returns via the Lovell Gulch Loop to the finish on the school track. Elevation gain is listed as 4,137' for the 50k and 1,126' for the 10k.

Aid stations are positioned along the course; they will be stocked with Tailwind, Muir Energy Gels, snacks, fruit and soda. Rainbow Gulch and Rampart Ridge aid stations will also offer hot options such as bacon and quesadillas. Pacing is prohibited.
