Course and route

The course begins in Woodland Park and ascends Lovell Gulch to the top of Rampart Range Road. The route continues south on Rampart Range Road with views of Pikes Peak, then proceeds counterclockwise around singletrack at Rampart Reservoir. The course connects to the 700.A National Forest trail, follows National Forest roads north with panoramic mountain views, and descends the second half of the Lovell Gulch Loop back to Woodland Park Middle School for the finish.
