Barr Trail Mountain Race

The Barr Trail Mountain Race is a mountain running event held in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The race takes place on the Front Range and follows the historic Barr Trail on Pikes Peak. General registration for the event opens in early March, and the race is open to participants aged 16 and older.

The course covers a total distance of 12.6 miles. It begins at the Cog Railway Station at an elevation of 6,570 feet. Participants ascend the trail to reach Barr Camp, located at an elevation of 10,200 feet. After reaching this point, the route turns around for a descent back down the mountain. The race concludes at the Barr Trailhead.
