Pikes Peak Ultra
Pikes Peak Ultra is a trail running event in Colorado Springs, CO, held on July 31, 2027. The races begin at Bear Creek Regional Park and are organized by Mad Moose Events. Distances offered include shorter trail races and longer ultramarathon distances.
The course follows local trails through High Drive and into Cheyenne Canon, traversing the Seven Bridges Trail and climbing to Pipeline Trail. Much of the route runs on crushed granite, a common surface on Colorado Springs trail systems. Parts of the course follow the Ring the Peak Trail and provide views of Pikes Peak. The 50K and 50 Miler courses include a summit of Mt. Rosa with panoramic views of the city below.
