Pikes Peak Ultra is scheduled for July 25, 2026 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with start and finish at Bear Creek Regional Park. The event offers the following distances:

Course and logistics

The course starts at Bear Creek Regional Park and proceeds up High Drive into Cheyenne Canon, including the Seven Bridges Trail and Pipeline Trail. Much of the course is on crushed granite trail surfaces and includes portions of the Ring the Peak Trail with views of Pikes Peak. The 50K and 50 Mile courses include a summit of Mt. Rosa.

  • 50 Mile: lowest point 6,170 ft, highest point 11,893 ft, elevation gain 11,759 ft, elevation loss 11,579 ft.
  • 50K: lowest point 6,169 ft, highest point 11,440 ft, elevation gain 8,127 ft, elevation loss 8,123 ft.
  • 30K: lowest point 6,169 ft, highest point 8,240 ft, elevation gain 4,177 ft, elevation loss 4,177 ft.
  • 20K: lowest point 6,169 ft, highest point 7,877 ft, elevation gain 2,513 ft, elevation loss 2,513 ft.

Aid stations are cupless; runners must use their own reusable cup or bladder. Water dispensers are provided at the start/finish and at every aid station for refilling bottles, bladders, or reusable cups. Packet pickup is available the day before at Colorado Running Company (5262 N. Nevada Ave #140) and on race day at the starting line; a photo ID is required and entries are non-transferable.
