Pikes Peak Ultra

Pikes Peak Ultra is a trail running event in Colorado Springs scheduled for July 25, 2026. The event begins and finishes at Bear Creek Regional Park and follows local trails including High Drive, Cheyenne Canon, the Seven Bridges Trail, Pipeline Trail, and sections of the Ring the Peak Trail. Much of the course runs on crushed granite surfaces. The 50K and 50 mile courses include a summit of Mt. Rosa.

The event offers multiple distances with published elevation profiles and downloadable GPX files and maps for each course:

  • 20K Lowest 6169 ft; Highest 7877 ft; Gain 2513 ft.
  • 30K Lowest 6169 ft; Highest 8240 ft; Gain 4177 ft.
  • 50K Lowest 6169 ft; Highest 11440 ft; Gain 8127 ft.
  • 50 Mile Lowest 6170 ft; Highest 11893 ft; Gain 11759 ft.

Aid stations are cupless. Water dispensers are located at the start and finish and at every aid station; runners are asked to bring reusable cups. Crew accessible aid stations are marked on the course map. Packet pickup occurs the day before at Colorado Running Company and on race day at the starting line; there is no on site registration and entries are non transferable. The finish line is at the same location as the start. All entrants receive a custom race shirt, a BOCO trucker hat, and a finishers medal.
