Pikes Peak Ultra takes place on July 25, 2026 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event offers the following race distances:

The course begins at Bear Creek Regional Park and follows local trails that include High Drive, Cheyenne Canon, the Seven Bridges Trail, and the Pipeline Trail. Much of the route is on crushed granite surfaces typical of Colorado Springs trail systems. Parts of the route follow the Ring the Peak Trail and provide views of Pikes Peak. The 50K and 50 Mile courses include a summit of Mt. Rosa with panoramic views of the city below.

Course elevation details by distance are published for each race. For example, the 50 Mile course reaches a high point near 11,893 feet with total elevation gain and loss on the order of 11,700 feet. The 50K, 30K, and 20K courses include progressively lower high points and smaller total elevation gain and loss accordingly.

The event operates cupless aid stations. Runners must bring a reusable cup; water dispensers at the start and finish and at every aid station allow refilling of bladders, bottles, and reusable cups. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Colorado Running Company, 5262 N. Nevada Ave #140, Colorado Springs, and on race morning at the starting line. A photo ID is required to receive a packet and entries are non transferable.
