Course and competition details

Runners complete repeated laps of a 0.82 mile loop course that is surrounded by mountains on the Palmer Divide. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers based on distance covered during the 24-hour period. The first ten participants who reach 100 miles or more within 24 hours are guaranteed a buckle on site; additional qualifying buckles will be distributed a few weeks after the event.
