21st Annual Reece's Roundup

Reece's Roundup is a community trail event held on the Philip S. Miller Trail System at Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, CO. The event is organized as a trail run with a separate one-mile walk option and offers multiple timed distances. Advance packet pick-up is not available this year.

Distances:

  • 1 Mile Walk
  • 5K
  • 10K

Registration fees are set by distance: the one-mile walk is $40, the 5K is $45, and the 10K is $50. All registrations are non-refundable. The event program includes an award ceremony and a musical performance by the event's namesake.

Proceeds from the event are gifted to a benefit fund established to support the family of the event beneficiary in their fight against Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The beneficiary was diagnosed with Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy in infancy and receives medical treatments, home health nursing, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Families purchase medical equipment and supplies that are not fully covered by insurance; fundraising proceeds help cover these ongoing needs.

Sponsorship levels are offered with defined donation ranges and benefits, including logo placement on race day shirts and participation slots for sponsor representatives. A deadline is set for logos to be printed on event shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
