Roxborough Ultras

Littleton, United States • 15 Aug 2026

Event overview

Roxborough Ultras is a trail ultramarathon held August 15, 2026, at Roxborough State Park near Littleton, Colorado. The event offers the following distances:

  • 50K
  • 50M

Both distances run on fully marked, all-trail courses with long out-and-back segments.

Course and logistics

The 50K includes over 5,000 feet of elevation gain. The 50M includes over 9,000 feet of elevation gain. Courses feature sustained climbing, technical sections, exposed terrain, and long stretches with little flat relief and limited shade.

August conditions in Roxborough are typically hot and dry, and natural water sources are unreliable or dry at this time of year. Aid stations are intentionally spaced and fully stocked, which may result in longer gaps between support than at shorter Front Range events. All participants are required to carry a minimum of 20 oz of water. The event is capped in its first year, and pricing is flat with no tiered increases. The race description notes that pacing, fueling, and heat management are continuous considerations during the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
