11th Hour Backyard Ultra
The 11th Hour Backyard Ultra takes place at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado. This event follows a modified backyard ultra format where participants must complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour. The race continues for as long as a runner can sustain the pace, up to a maximum of 11 laps before the park closes for the night.
The course is located at a reservoir-side park and utilizes a trail network that provides views of the lake during daylight hours. Participants are required to use headlamps for any laps occurring after dark. The event is scheduled for October 31, serving as a final race of the season before winter.
There is a single aid station located at the start and finish area of the loop. The field is limited to a total of 50 runners. The registration fee includes the park entry fee. The final lap of the event is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM.
