BINGO! Trail Runs
BINGO! Trail Runs at Addenbrooke Park in Lakewood, Colorado is presented by the Human Potential Running Series as an HPRS Trail Party. The event is organized to bring runners together on trail and ultra routes and to provide a communal running experience.
Each runner completes repeated loops until they earn a bingo on their bib. On each return to the control point a runner draws a bingo chip from a bag. If the drawn number appears on the runner's bib, the runner marks that number, runs another loop, then draws again. If the number is not on the bib, the runner runs another loop and then draws again. A runner's official result is the number of miles completed when they earn a bingo. Runners who leave the event before earning a bingo are not listed as official finishers; HPRS does not publish DNF results.
The course uses single-track and paved trails within Addenbrooke Park. When conditions allow the route runs primarily on dirt single-track typically used by equestrians; if conditions do not allow because of mud, the route uses paved bike paths. The course is mostly exposed with scattered cottonwood trees and is mostly flat with negligible elevation change. One aid station is located at the main control point and is accessed before and after each loop.
