Elevation Run/Walk is an annual community running event in Conifer, Colorado, scheduled for July 25, 2026. The course highlights the Conifer Trails and runs through the Aspen Park neighborhoods at an average elevation of about 8,200 feet. The 10K course includes sections on paved roads, dirt roads, and trail running; other distances remain on mainly paved and neighborhood routes.
Proceeds from the event support local high school athletics, capital improvements at Conifer High School, and the maintenance of public nature trails used for hiking and running. Event features include race timing, event photography, awards and bib prizes, participant T-shirts and goodie bags, and a post-race festival. Race training programs are available for purchase.
The event is part of a larger community celebration held across two days with local vendors, artisans, and musicians. The starting area is organized at the West Jeff Elementary play lot on the south end of Sutton Street, with parking directed to West Jeff Elementary and Conifer Community Church.
