Elevation Run/Walk - Conifer, Colorado

The Elevation Run/Walk is an annual community road and trail event held on July 25, 2026 in Conifer, Colorado. It serves as a fundraiser for the Conifer Lobos Unified Boosters (CLUB) and the Conifer Area Council Trails Team and also kicks off the two-day Elevation Celebration community festival.

The course runs around the Aspen Park neighborhoods and uses local trails, including sections through Meyer Ranch Park for the 10K distance. Terrain includes paved paths, dirt roads, and singletrack trail sections. The average running elevation for the event is about 8,200 ft.

Race distances offered include:

  • 10K timed race, includes race shirt, race goodie bag, and chipped timing
  • 5K USATF certified timed race, includes race shirt, goodie bag, and after race food
  • 2 Mile Fun Run family route, includes race shirt and after race food

Participants receive a race shirt and goodie bag; some races use chipped timing and the 5K course is USATF certified. After the races the Elevation Celebration features live music, local vendors, food trucks, and kids activities. The event began in 2013 and 2026 marks its 14th year. The Evergreen Trail Race Series will take place in Evergreen on Saturday 25 July 2026. You can run between 5 and 10 miles.

Two Brothers Up and Down in Idaho Springs offers two uphill out and back races on mixed dirt and paved roads, with steep sections and an aid station on the 10k. Both races start and finish at Courtney Riley Cooper Park.

The 21st Annual Reece's Roundup is a trail event in Castle Rock featuring a 5K and a 1 Mile Walk, with proceeds supporting a benefit fund that helps a family manage the care needs of a young person with spinal muscular atrophy.

Trail ultras from Roxborough State Park to Sharptail Trailhead featuring sustained climbs, technical singletrack, and a long runnable finish, with full aid support and an emphasis on land stewardship.
