Rock Hawk Trail Races

Rock Hawk Trail Races take place on the Miller Park and Ridgeline Trail systems in Philip S. Miller Park, Castle Rock, Colorado. The event offers multiple trail distances over the same rolling terrain; trails are described as not overly technical and provide notable views. Distances may vary slightly each year due to permitting.

Available distances:

  • 50K
  • 25K
  • 10K
  • 5K

Course services include two cup-free aid stations on course that runners will pass multiple times depending on distance. Aid stations provide water, an electrolyte drink (Tailwind), sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. Runners may leave a weather sealed drop bag at the start/finish area.

The event provides official chip timing, a custom finisher award, finish line photos, and live split tracking during race weekend. A portion of race proceeds benefits Castle Rock open spaces, trails, and partner charities. Crew and pacer permissions vary by distance and are subject to event rules and permit restrictions. Bib pickup is held at Philip S. Miller Park in the days immediately before the race.

Registration closes before the event and fees vary by distance and registration period. Results and photos from past years are available for reference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
