Westminster Trail Race - Standley Lake

The Westminster Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Standley Lake in Westminster, Colorado. The event offers multiple trail distances around the lake on courses with natural views of the water and the Front Range.

Distances offered:

  • 50 KM - 31.2 miles, 2358 ft elevation gain, 100% dirt
  • 35 KM - 21.9 miles, 1650 ft elevation gain, 100% dirt
  • Half Marathon - 13 miles, 954 ft elevation gain, 100% dirt
  • 10 KM - 6.2 miles, 434 ft elevation gain, 100% dirt
  • 5 KM - 3.3 miles, 212 ft elevation gain, 100% dirt

Most courses use a Y out and back format; the 10 KM is an out and back course. Elevation and time limits vary by distance, with the 50 KM listed at a 9 hour limit. On course support and aid are provided; the number and placement vary by distance. Crews are generally able to access the start and finish area; pacers are not permitted for most distances. Drop bag areas are available at the start and finish and runners are advised to use weather resistant bags.
