American Heroes Run - September 11 - 12, 2026

American Heroes Run is a commemorative running event held in Longmont, Colorado at 220 Hover Street on September 11 and 12, 2026. The event honors the memory of 9/11/01 and emphasizes remembrance and patriotism. Races use a measured, flat 1.05 mile loop course that allows repeated laps.

The program includes a range of timed and untimed options and a virtual participation choice. The 100 mile race has a 30 hour cutoff. Overnight participants can order hot food that will be prepared during the event. A fully stocked aid station and nearby restroom facilities serve participants during on-site races.

Registered participants receive a race shirt, a special AHR dogtag, and additional items. Finishers receive a unique event coin and finisher award, and 100 mile finishers receive a belt buckle. Virtual participants receive a shirt, certificate, and awards; overseas shipping is extra.
