Twisted Fork Trail Festival - Spring Classic

The Twisted Fork Trail Festival in Park City, Utah features three trail races over local Wasatch Mountain terrain. The event uses trails that pass through wooded areas, offer expansive mountain views, and touch routes with local historical significance.

Course descriptions emphasize hilly but runnable trail terrain and include the following distances and elevation gains:

  • 68K (42 miles) - ~6,100 feet of gain.
  • 30K (18.3 miles) - ~2,100 feet of gain.
  • 15K (9.64 miles) - ~1,200 feet of gain.

The finish area at Newpark Amphitheater will include live music, food, drinks, lawn games and a recovery station, and the event features an awards ceremony. Greater Park City provides a range of lodging, dining, and activities for friends and family who travel to the event.

The festival began in 2018 as a long-distance event and expanded in 2025 to add the 30K and 15K distances. Organizers describe a runner-centered approach that includes marked courses, staffed aid stations with water and ice, and additional event programming. The 2026 edition is planned to include a more developed schedule of events the day prior to the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
