Cirque Series Snowbird is a mountain trail race in Snowbird, UT on July 11, 2026. The course covers 8.9 miles with 3,610 feet of vertical gain and is capped at 500 runners.
The route begins at Tram Plaza base area and follows a service road along the creek to Creekside base area before a sustained climb. Runners ascend toward Mid Gad chair, continue east on Rothman Way to Peruvian Gulch Trail and Peruvian service road, then onto the Ridge Trail and Cirque Ridge to Hidden Peak. The course loops around the backside of Hidden Peak, drops to Gorilla Pass service road, climbs to the Summit of Mt. Baldy via singletrack, then descends through a technical boulder traverse, passes through Snowbird ski tunnel shade, and returns on Peruvian Gulch singletrack to finish at Tram Plaza.
Safety and logistics are emphasized. The course is marked with orange flagging and competitors must follow the flagged route. If a rock is kicked loose competitors should shout rock and those who hear rock should protect their head and not look uphill. Injured competitors should be reported to the nearest course marshal, EMT, or Snowbird Patrol. There is a strict two hour cut off at Hidden Peak summit; competitors who do not meet it will take the tram back down. The race takes place on the Salt Lake Ranger District of the Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest.
Each competitor receives a snapback, giveaway ticket, logoed bib and medal, a sponsor swag bag, and free professional photos. Cirque Series hats are available at the merch booth. Registrations by category are approximately Sport 68 percent, Expert 25 percent, and Pro 7 percent.
