The Cirque Series race at Snowbird, Utah takes place on July 11, 2026 at Snowbird (9385 S. Snowbird Center Dr.). The course is 8.9 miles with 3,610 ft of climbing. The event is capped at 500 entries and includes Sport, Expert and Pro divisions, plus a Volunteer category. A Forest Service fee of $2.00 applies.
Course and logistics
The course starts at the Creekside base area and climbs toward Mid-Gad, follows Rothman Way and the Peruvian Gulch service road, then continues on Ridge Trail and Cirque Ridge to Hidden Peak. Competitors loop behind Hidden Peak, descend to Gorilla Pass, then ascend to the Summit of Mt. Baldy, the highest point on the course. The route includes steep and technical singletrack, a boulder traverse, a final uphill to Snowbird’s ski tunnel, and about three miles of dirt roads and singletrack down Peruvian Gulch past Oktoberfest plaza and the mountain coaster, finishing back in Creekside. Hydration is provided at two aid stations and the finish line.
A strict cut-off applies at Hidden Peak summit: competitors not meeting the cut-off will be taken down by tram. Timing is by disposable chip attached to the back of the bib; chips must not be folded or modified. Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before and on race morning. Per-race prizes and season points are awarded in each division, with cash for Pro places and gear awards for Expert and Sport places. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
