Course and race details
The course runs clockwise, beginning at the base of Goldminer's Daughter (elevation 8,650 ft) and climbs via Albion Meadows Trail through subalpine forest and alpine meadows. Key landmarks and features include Alf's mid-mountain restaurant (about 9,200 ft), the top of Collins (about 10,400 ft, with an aid station), Sugarloaf Pass (about 10,500 ft), and the summit of Mt. Baldy (11,068 ft) with a loose-rock section requiring hands to ascend. A second aid station is near the top of Wildcat Lift (about 9,780 ft); hydration is provided at two aid stations and at the finish. The course lies on the Salt Lake Ranger District, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. A strict cut-off applies at Alf's Lodge/base of Sugarloaf chair: 1.7 miles, 700 ft elevation gain, 30 minutes.
