Butterfield Canyon Half Marathon
The Butterfield Canyon Half Marathon is a trail race on August 8, 2026, that starts and finishes at Butterfield Trailhead Regional Park in Herriman, UT (8307 Herriman Hwy). Course navigation uses pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals; turns are flagged on the side of the trail corresponding to the turn. Free parking is available around the pavilion. Packet pickup is available Friday at Salt Lake Running Company, 8946 S State St, Sandy, UT. Runners receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal. Post-race food includes baked items from Great Harvest Bread, chocolate milk, orange juice, and bananas. Free race photos are provided by Xotio Media and will be available via bib recognition without a watermark. Awards include overall plaques and age-division medals in the listed age groups.
