  • 26.2 miles
  • 13.1 miles

Course and aid

Both courses use single track trails, fire roads, and dirt roads through wooded canyons with mountain views. The marathon totals 26.2 miles with about +4,556 ft elevation gain and a surface mix of 72% dirt trail, 17% fire road, 10% dirt road. The half totals 13.1 miles with about +1,950 ft elevation gain and a surface mix of 81% dirt trail, 9% fire road, 8% dirt road.

Aid stations are remote and stocked with Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels/waffles, fruit, and snacks. A hydration vest or bottle is required for the marathon and strongly recommended for the half. Trail marshals will be on course.

Navigation is by pink flags, ribbons, signs, and marshals; wrong-way routes are marked with red flags. Parking is available for free around the pavilion. Post-race provisions include a bread breakfast, drinks, finisher medals, shirts, free photos, and awards by division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
