Jordan River Marathon

The Jordan River Marathon is held on the Jordan River Parkway Trail in South Jordan, Utah, with start and finish at East Riverfront Park. The event uses selected miles of the larger 40 mile trail system and follows the river through wetlands, parks, golf courses, ponds, and over and under bridges. The majority of the courses are paved trails with small sections of sidewalk.

Aid stations on course supply Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels and waffles, fruit, Swedish Fish or similar treats, and soda options. Aid stations also carry basic first aid items including a first aid kit, Vaseline, IcyHot, and ibuprofen. Course navigation is supported with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals.

Participants receive a race shirt and a locally made finisher medal; age division medals are awarded. Post race food includes items from Great Harvest Bread such as cinnamon rolls and seasonal breads, plus chocolate milk, juice, and bananas. Xotio Media provides course and finish line photos hosted for download without a watermark. Live results are available.

The organizer limits field size for trail and permit reasons and caps runners at 300. The marathon follows a 7.5 hour cutoff policy and the half marathon is held without a cutoff time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
