Event overview
The Jordan River Marathon takes place along the Jordan River Parkway Trail in South Jordan, Utah. The event offers the following distances:
- 26.2 miles (Marathon)
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
The race starts and finishes at East River Front Park (10911 S River Front Pkwy). Parking is free with hundreds of spaces near the park. Registration tiers and pricing are: Early, Normal, and Late (early pricing ends March 19; late pricing begins August 19). Registration closes the night before the race. The event is capped at 300 runners.

Both courses follow paved trail segments through wetlands, parks, golf courses, ponds, and over bridges. Surface and elevation summaries:

- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, +226 ft total elevation gain, 95% paved trail, 5% sidewalk.
Aid stations are stocked with Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels/waffles, fruit, soda options, and small snacks. Stations include basic first aid supplies and some comfort items. The course is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. Free race photos will be taken and provided without watermarks. Post-race items include a locally made finisher medal, a race shirt, and a breakfast from Great Harvest Bread. Half marathon awards include overall plaques and age-division medals; additional prizes include gift cards from a local running store. Packet pickup is available the Friday before at the Sandy Salt Lake Running Company; race day packet pickup is at the start line.
