Jordan River Marathon

The Jordan River Marathon event uses selected miles of the Jordan River Parkway Trail in Utah. The marathon follows the river for 26.2 miles and passes wetlands, parks, golf courses, ponds, bridges, and other trail features. The course includes sections that go under and over bridges and is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals.

The race starts and finishes at East River Front Park and is scheduled for September 19, 2026. Packet pickup is available Friday afternoon at Salt Lake Running Company in Sandy and race day pickup is available at the starting line. Registration has tiered pricing with early, normal, and late rates for both the marathon and the half marathon. Same day registration is not available.

Participants receive a high quality race shirt and a custom locally made finisher medal. Aid stations are stocked with Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger products, fruit, and other snacks. Xotio Media will provide free race photos hosted online without a watermark. Post-race offerings include a Great Harvest Bread breakfast and on-site assistance from Revive Sport & Spine.
