The Jordan River Marathon is a trail-based event in South Jordan, Utah, starting and finishing at East River Front Park / East Riverfront Pavilion (10911 S River Front Pkwy). The event offers the following distances:

Both courses follow the Jordan River Parkway Trail and pass wetlands, parks, golf courses, ponds, and bridges. The marathon route is mostly paved (96% paved, 4% sidewalk) with a total elevation gain of +392 ft. The half marathon is listed as 95% paved and +226 ft elevation gain. Navigation is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. Aid stations on both courses provide Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels and waffles, fruit, and small snacks; basic first aid supplies are available. The marathon uses a 7.5 hour cutoff pace; the half marathon has no cutoff. Post-race items include a locally made finisher medal, a race shirt, and a breakfast provided by Great Harvest Bread.
