Corner Canyon Peak View 5K
Corner Canyon Peak View 5k is a trail running event covering 3.1 miles with approximately +508 ft of elevation gain. The course is rated Difficulty 5 and follows dirt trails and roads through Corner Canyon. Dogs are not allowed.
The route begins on a dirt road behind a pavilion on the east side of the parking lot at the Peak View Trailhead. The start and finish are located at that pavilion area. GPS recording for a course attempt is reliable when the run starts and finishes within about 100 feet of the pavilion.
The course offers views of the surrounding mountains, the Draper temple, and wooded sections that appear as tunnels of green in spring and show bright autumn colors in fall. A group run for this course is scheduled for October 12th, 2026.
This 5k is listed among the Corner Canyon Trail Series, which uses a GPS-based format and the RidewithGPS app to time segments so runners are recorded on the same section of course. The series provides leaderboards, age-group awards, a finisher medal, and a synthetic shirt for participants who register for the series.
