The Women's Epic at Brighton Resort is a trail event held in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The course is designed for women who wish to hike, jog, or run through mountain terrain. The layout features a wider starting trail and transitions into downhill singletrack sections. Participants pass through wildflowers, shaded forest areas, and encounter steep climbs as they navigate the resort grounds.

The event follows a loop format with a specific distance available:

  • 10k with approximately 2,000 feet of vertical gain.

The route reaches a peak at the world-class Brighton Resort before descending back to the base. Registration includes a variety of materials for participants, such as a race bib, a technical t-shirt, and a swag bag. Additionally, entrants are provided with a 12-week training plan to assist with preparation for the elevation gain and trail conditions.

The finish line area features a community gathering known as the Vendor Village. This space hosts a celebration for all participants that includes a pancake meal and various festivities once the course is completed. Every finisher receives a necklace to commemorate their journey to the summit and back. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
