Course, aid, and amenities
The course is about 95% packed dirt trail and 5% dirt single track. Runners reach the Provo Jordan River Parkway Trail in the first half mile and run roughly 6 miles along the reservoir before a turnaround. Split segments are provided with distances and elevation changes; aid stations are approximately 4.3 miles apart. Aid stations supply Tailwind, water, Honey Stinger gels and waffles, fruit, and other snacks. Navigation is marked with pink flags, ribbons, signs, and trail marshals. Participants receive a race shirt and a custom locally made finisher medal. Post-race food includes bread items, chocolate milk, orange juice, and bananas.
