Deer Creek Half Marathon
The Deer Creek Half Marathon is a trail running event held along the Wasatch Front in Utah. The race follows a course along the Deer Creek Reservoir, providing participants with views of the water and the surrounding mountain ranges. The route consists of rolling hills on a trail surface, designed to be accessible for those new to trail running while remaining a challenge for experienced athletes.

The race starts and finishes at the Deer Creek Dam Trailhead. The course is marked with pink flags, ribbons, and signs, and trail marshals are positioned along the route to assist with navigation. Aid stations are located throughout the course and are stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, waffles, fruit, and snacks.
Participants receive a race shirt and a custom finisher medal. Post-race amenities include a breakfast featuring cinnamon rolls, cookies, and pumpkin chocolate chip bread, along with chocolate milk, orange juice, and bananas. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three finishers in several age categories ranging from under 20 to over 70. Free race photography is provided with digital downloads available via bib recognition.
