Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB

Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB is a multi‑day trail running event held at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Wasatch Mountains. It is scheduled for 23 to 25 July 2026 and is hosted within a ski resort setting.

The courses run through high alpine terrain with ridgelines, alpine wildflowers, and wide panoramic Wasatch views. Runners follow marked trails that include sustained climbs and technical descents, and summit sections provide broad 360 degree vistas.

The event is staged at a resort so lodging, dining, parking, spectating, and post race recovery areas are close to the start and finish. Organizers provide course marking and volunteer support and position the event within the UTMB World Series community.

The event includes community and charitable initiatives. The Start Line Project focuses on reducing barriers for women. UTMB Community Bibs are part of the IRONMAN Foundation program; donations support local organizations and trail stewardship, with half of the Community Bib registration funds directed to a local charity chosen by the race team. The IRONMAN Foundation reports over $60 million in charitable giveback since 2003.
