Trifarm 10k Summer trail run - Overview

The event is the first race of the Trifarm trail seasonal series for 2026, held at Trifarm on Church Road in Boreham, Chelmsford, Essex. The course is a 10 km trail route that is more than 95% off road, using public footpaths and bridleways. The route is run anticlockwise and starts at the west side of the humpback bridge by the public footpath fingerpost; participants should allow at least five minutes to walk from the car park to the start. The 10 km finishes after three quarters of a lap of the running track around the Trifarm lake at the end of the car park.

Parking is available on site. Registration takes place in or near the Trifarm entrance and race numbers and pins are collected in the car park by the Trifarm buildings. Bottled water is provided at registration and there is a refill tap near the finish by the bicycle rack. A route narrative will be available from the event organiser’s website the week before the race and the route can also be found on Strava.

There are no water stations on course or marshals; a tail walker will sweep the course. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded; manual timing may be used and an unreadable number may prevent a time being recorded.
